The Magdalene Centre is one of the centres this Rotary Club has supported for many years.
We collect donations periodically throughout the year to support the clients of the centre. In recent years our collections have had a specific focus such as Back to School, Easter, Winter Warmers and Christmas. In 2022 we started involving the community by encouraging shoppers to “buy an extra item’ when they are doing their weekly shopping.
Some donate one item, some donate a bag full, some come back with a loaded trolley.
The Magdalene Centre appreciates the donations and members of the club have an opportunity to meet ’the locals’.
